Selina Young
Senior Clinical Embryologist
Selina specialises in preimplantation embryology and assisted reproduction technology. She is particularly interested in IVF research, training, optimisation of laboratory conditions and protocols, improving patient communication and investigating new IVF technologies.

Selina trained as an embryologist in Manchester, UK and worked for seven years with the Care Fertility group. As lead embryologist for the UK’s largest training laboratory, part of her role also involved lecturing MSc students at Liverpool John Moores University. She joined the Laboratory team in Bourn Hall in August 2024.
Selina is a licensed embryologist under both Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health (DOH), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE)UK.
