Dr. Moufid Shawa

Dr Moufid is a Senior Consultant in Anaesthesiology with over 35 year of high calibre experience, covering thousands of anaesthetic procedures for all kinds of surgeries including high-risk cases of medical specialties across large, state-of- the-art medical facilities in the Middle East.

Dr. Moufid’s experience includes general and regional anaesthesia, conscious and deep sedation, pre-operative evaluation, post-operative care and pain management, management of anaesthetic complications, and care of critically ill patients.

Dr. Moufid has headed multiple departments consisting of anaesthesia, operation theatres and ICU’s managing disturbed vital functions including respiration, parenteral and enteral nutrition, and management of metabolic balance. Dr. Moufid led a team of medical, paramedical, and other professionals delivering consistently superior services to the hospital and its patients.

Dr. Moufid has been awarded a Certification of Appreciation for Distinguished Performance from the Minister of Health-UAE, in additional to other Appreciation Certificates from several medical facilities.
